Hey there! Looking comfy in that headshot, right? I was probably getting ready for my next adventure after that day. You see, the need to explore runs deep in my veins. Ever since I was a kid in West Michigan, my grandparents subscribed to National Geographic Magazine. Even before I could read, those traveling photojournalists' breathtaking work captivated me, fueling my desire to see the world.

As I grew older, those stories came alive during my travels across North America, Europe, and Asia. My travel partner (and husband of 34 years) Ernie and I even lived in China for over a year – talk about an adventure! I've had my fair share of creative work and hospitality experience, but I couldn't shake this feeling that something more was calling me.

Then it clicked! Crafting travel experiences for others became my true calling. I jumped into learning everything I needed to help people explore the world. Training seminars, certifications, research – I did it all, and Bellwether Travel was born.

Sure, the pandemic threw a curveball, and like much of life during that time, I put travel planning for others on a shelf. I worked on my other creative passions until the timing was right for me again and here I am working with now with Fora Travel.
